Colleen McLaughlin joined the board in October 2022. A Santa Cruz native, Colleen earned her master’s in social work from USC and is currently working toward her LCSW. She is the clinical supervisor at New Life Community Services, specializing in substance use and mental health. Having been a patient of Santa Cruz Community Health since 2014, Colleen deeply values SCCH’s mission of social justice and healthcare as a human right. She is honored to serve on the board of an organization that has “had such a positive impact on her life and the broader Santa Cruz community”.
