Andrew Goldenkranz

Andrew Goldenkranz has been a Santa Cruz Community Health board member since September 2012 and is the current Advocacy & Audit Committee Chair. A veteran public educator and health advocate, Andrew supports fundraising, communications, and advocacy efforts. Originally from New York City, he moved west for college, earning a degree from Stanford in 1979. After a decade in politics and communications, Andrew became a science teacher and trainer, later serving on the boards of several organizations, including the Health Education Steering Committee and Temple Beth El. He is a founding member of Vaccinate California and a regional leader in COPA, an interfaith alliance for social justice. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with his two grown children.
