Behavioral Health

Santa Cruz Community Health offers comprehensive Behavioral Health support services for life’s challenges. Confidential services are provided in English or Spanish to all patients at our Downtown Women’s Health Center and the new Live Oak Health Center on Capitola Road.

Your mental and emotional health is just as important as your physical health. That’s why Santa Cruz Community Health (SCCH) offers counseling and wellness support services for everyone, no matter your immigration status, insurance coverage, or ability to pay.

These services include individual therapy, family therapy, substance use disorder counseling, school-based support (Live Oak Schools and Harbor High), and case management services, which include Enhance Care Management (ECM) services for our patients with full-scope managed Medi-Cal and complex case management for patients without insurance.

We provide support in areas such as:

  • Trauma
  • Parenting and family relationships
  • School difficulties
  • Anxiety
  • Chronic medical conditions or new diagnoses
  • Depression
  • Mood concerns
  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Addiction and substance use disorder

Our Team Offers the following:

  • Up to twelve (12) 30-minute sessions with one of our therapists.

  • Brief support provided by your medical provider and your therapist together right in the exam room.

  • A partnership between your medical provider and your therapist to offer whole person care.
